Haworth President & CEO, Franco Bianchi, to share furniture giant's international growth strategy at ACG Annual Dinner

Grand Rapids, MI- Sept. 8, 2008
The Association for Corporate Growth's Western Michigan Chapter, part of a 12,000 member, international business networking organization, will host Haworth President & CEO, Franco Bianchi, as the featured keynote speaker at its 2008 Annual Dinner. The event will be held at Haworth's new, LEED-NC Gold registered headquarters in Holland, MIch. on Wednesdsay, Oct 8, 2008.

West Michigan ACG members and business leaders will gather at the newly renovated One Haworth Center to hear about Haworth's growth strategy-- specifically and how a local, family business is transitioning from an office furniture company with international presence to a diverse company creating sustainable and effective environments around the world.

One Haworth Center is a "living lab" that supports and adapts with technology, ergonomics, user control and sustainability. The building also helps Haworth meet energy efficiency goals by utilizing green building design, according to President & CEO, Franco Bianchi.

Haworth is a designer and manufacturer of office furniture and workspaces that has quickly moved to the forefront of green design. Focusing on environmental conservation, reusing materials and averting pollution, Haworth is leveraging expertise in creating sustainable workspace solutions that adapt and evolve as a corporate growth strategy that is already seeing a strong return on investment. In 2007, Haworth sales increased 12 percent marking its fifth consecutive year of growth.

The ACG Annual Dinner even begins at 4:30 p.m. with tours of the LEED-NC Gold registered One Haworth Center in Holland, Mich., followed by networking and hors d' oeuvres at 5:30. Mr. Bianchi's presentation begins at 6:40 p.m. with dinner to follow. The cost for attending the event is $90 for members and $125 for non-members.
